I was lined up shoulder to shoulder with 10 other photographers. We were all wondering if it was going to be worth it; we'd risen before dawn and were standing out in freezing weather.
Then, like magic, the sun broke over our back left shoulder, and the light came alive.

As often as I look ahead to the path in front of me and ponder how I might overcome the impending obstacles, I want to to turn around and appreciate the challenges of yesterday that are now achievements.
