As often as I look ahead to the path in front of me and ponder how I might overcome the impending obstacles, I want to to turn around and appreciate the challenges of yesterday that are now achievements.

This stream is about a half mile hike in from one of the many campsites in the area. Although spring was in full bloom in the meadows, the only sign of color (other than the vibrant green of the moss) were these fagile purple flowers. In a sea of green, they stood out vividly.
