My mom and I headed to Point Lobos State Preserve to watch the sunset.
This cove was the perfect viewpoint for the clouds reflecting the pink light.
Very peaceful and meditative except for those crazy sea lions barking all around us!

The theme of this trip for me was 'water.' In two days I must have hiked twenty miles and driven 300. The rain never stopped which made it muddy, and slippery, and fun!
Immediately after taking this series of shots I turned to hike down the rocks with my camera and tripod on my shoulder when the slippery moss got the better of me.
In a successful effort to save the camera, I sacrificed my rear-end.
The bruise the size of a grapefruit made the 6 hour drive back to Seattle a little uncomfortable, but the photos were worth it.
